A successful writer, Lisa's articles are published in Columbus C.E.O. magazine and Columbus' Business First newspaper, a publication of American City Business Journals. Her work also has appeared in Columbus Monthly and AAA Ohio's Home & Away magazine. Lisa contributes frequently to Over the Back Fence magazine. Additionally, Lisa is employed as director of communications for Ohio's largest electric cooperative. She writes and designs four local interest pages for Country Living magazine, published monthly by Ohio Rural Electric Cooperatives, Inc. Her articles continue to be accepted into the magazine’s statewide section. Additionally, she creates the co-op's customer marketing materials, annual report, employee newsletter and advertising.

Lisa often presents writing classes, workshops and presentations. Her audiences include students at Ohio University-Lancaster, the Chamber of Commerce Women's Division and electric cooperative communications colleagues.

She has assisted non-profit organizations like the Decorative Arts Center of Ohio and government agencies such as Hocking Metropolitan Housing Authority with news releases and brochures.

Lisa previously worked for five years as a radio talk show hostess, news reporter and anchor. She spent almost a decade in financial services marketing and management, working for both small and large institutions.

She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from The Ohio State University.

Lisa has good, tight writing and organizational skills because of her news reporting background. Her marketing and radio experience has given her the ability to get people to open up and share their story. For long-distance projects, she works via U.S. mail and e-mail. She understands the importance of staying in touch, asking questions early to avoid re-work, time management and that making deadlines is a must.
